BingDao Iceland :$4500-$5000
XiGui: $2600-$3200,
GwaFengZai: $1600-$1800,
 JingMai: $600-$900

Those are the price in Chinese dollar, currency : $1CAD= $6 chinese dollar

Can't believe BingDao's price has been up so much, and  bidding BanZhang !

March ! The spring , when tea passionates are all heading to YUN NAN , china to collect teas ... But I am in Canada , the great white north surrounding by Canada gooses ( a coat brand)

I am suppose on my tea journey ~! There are few moments in these days, I really want to leave everything here.. Going to the tea mountains, where I can smell the fresh air with scents of the wild tea trees

Wellll, finally came home and settled down after a busy day. Take a deep breath ~~ learned a good lesson : how well that you want others to treat you = how well you can treat others .. :) there's no idiot in the world , They can feel your compassion :)

Opening a bag of Longevity White Tea (Silver YinZhen) sent by daddy 2 years ago :"p

Dad mailed me different types of great teas few years back. There were the White Tea , 8 year old puer, green teas. However, I never bother to open them to try .. So I put them in my tea basket and almost forget about them :"(

Two days ago, I remembered that I haven't open the package yet !!
So. I started to try them one by one .
They are the really good teas picked by my dad, he told me that he wanted me to try the significant teas, so I will get to understand what's "woody, or aging" tastes and smells like ~

In the passed two days. I took pictures and made tea tasting notes , then post it on my dad's page, so he could comment on my understandings and new learnings about teas !

I tried this Longevity Brow today, it's actually called the ShouMei or Silver Needle. It belongs to the White tea category, which is a type of tea without fermentation and pan fry .
Usually, people are not passionate a out white tea, because it's mild taste..and mild aroma

Well, this Longevity I tried today gave me a big shock ! When i opened the bag, the shape of the tea leafs look very organize and clean to me! then I took 6g and brew it for 15 seconds with gaiwan! How could white tea contain such a fruity aroma and it was able to lasted for up to 10 infusions!! i was so exciting by myself when i am tasting this tea ! Usually white teas has less favors and only can last for a maximum 5 infusion ! The sweetness of the tea keeps in my body for quite a wile too ~~

I was amazed by this tea , and could like to share it with my tea friends immediately. Too bad, only myself was tasting the tea before going to work..
And before I leave the tea table, I can still add another 3 infusion before it's losing favors :"( I wasted a tea today lol

Have been sitting in front of this giant MAC for over 8 hours.. while you are feeling tired of work, what do you do ? 

I invented a new relaxation way at work .. making fun of my little tea pot ~~ also.. the mini illustration card tells the story~~ at lease it expresses mood of the moment for me !

Celebrating with $20k/200g BingDao(Iceland)Ancient Tree tea !  Happy Valentine's day :D

I will only take out this BING DAO TEA that I collected at 2007 in special occasions. Today is so special that I want to spend my Valentine's day with this lovely BingDao tea. I called it the Iceland tea! Why? it's from a mountain village which surrounding by snow mountains! so it looks like an iceland in the snow sea .

On 2012 tea expo, the BingDao tea was auctioned at $20k /200g !! Fortunately, I collected a little bit of it at the price of $500 in 2007 during my YunNan tea education journey ~~ 

I haven't drank the BingDao tea for about a year already :") never understand why it's being so expensive :X  Today I finally realized why it's being so expensive ! 

FIRST! of course is the low production~ if you have ever been to Bing Dao, you will see on top of the mountain village, less than 200 old Bing Dao tea trees there.... ( so not sure why everyone calls their pu'er tea as BingDao) 

Second! 
It has 0 bitterness!  Very long lasting sweetness, and rich liquor colour , even after the 13th infusion! 
This is a tea that can last up to 15 infusion but still with very strong taste :D 

Each leaf is very thick and strong that you can not even squeeze to break them ! Majorly because of the age of the tea tree is over 200 years old . The BingDao teas are collected in the early spring, when the leafs absorb the most nutrient during the winter! On TOP of the BingDao Village, tea trees are covered with snow at a below 0 temperature. THEY have been ABLE TO SURVIVE  for more than 200 crucial winters !





BingDao located in MengKu town in YunNan, it was a very poor town when we first go there in 2005-2007.. Now, it's being developed because of it's BingDao Old Tree Pu'er tea. 

 I miss MengKu ~~ The tea farmer families and the tea factories
 ( Uncle Li From the Ancient Tree Tea Factory, Mr. Dong from the ShuangJiang tea factory )
